Syllable Labs Pvt. Ltd. respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personally identifiable information you may provide us through any of our products, such as mobile apps or websites, owned and developed by us. We have adopted this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) to explain what information may be collected via our products, how we use this information, and under what circumstances we may disclose the information to third parties. This Privacy Policy applies only to information we collect through our own products and does not apply to our collection of information from other sources.
This privacy policy applies to the Invitation box app (hereby referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Syllable Labs Pvt. Ltd. (hereby referred to as “We” or “Us”). This Application is intended for use “AS IS”.
This privacy policy serves as a legal document, and enforceable, like any other written agreement.
The name shown in playstore is title for the app to appear in search results and not a brand name such as Invitation Box.

User consent: Please note that by providing the Information (as enumerated upon herein below), User provides User’s consent and authorizes Service Provider to collect, use or disclose such Information for the business and research purposes and as stated in this Privacy Policy, the Terms of Service and as permitted or required by applicable law. Moreover, the User understands and hereby consents that this Information may be transferred to any third- party user for the purpose of providing services through the Platform or to any third-party providers for rendering Services (as defined in the Terms of Service), any jointly developed or marketed services, payment processing, order fulfilment, customer services, data analysis, information technology services and such other services which enable us to provide Services through the Product.
What, why & how we collect data
Types of information collected
- “Personal data” – means and includes any Information that relates to a natural person through which an individual is identified, such as the name, contact details, email address, gender, age or any other relevant material provided by a User, including but not limited to information gathered through availing Services. It shall also cover information of User’s care person details (name, age or date of birth, gender, phone number, relationship with the User).
- “Media” – means and incudes any audio visual files such as pictures from your gallery, or direct capture of images via your device’s camera.
- “Technical Information” means and includes any Information gathered through various technologies that may employ cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to automatically record certain information from User’s device through which User uses the Application. This technical information may include User’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, device or browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring or exit pages, clickstream data, operating system. This data includes usage information and user statistics.
- “Non-Personal Information” means and includes any information that does not reveal User’s specific identity, such as, browser information, information collected through Cookies (as defined below), pixel tags and other technologies, demographic information, etc. As is true with most websites, Service Provider gathers some information automatically when User uses the Application. For example, environmental variables, such as browser type, operating system, speed of the central processing unit (CPU), referring or exit web pages, click patterns and the internet protocol (IP) address of User’s computer. This information is generally collected in aggregate form, without identifying any user individually. Non-Personal Information shall also include information which is shared with Service Provider to avail the Services, including, but not limited to chats with Service Provider’s representatives.
The data collected by us shall be used for maximizing the benefits availed by you from the Product. A Limited list of such functions given below:
Core functionality of the app:
- Device contacts – to give better experience to User, but not limited to, such as displaying name of a person associated with a number as per contacts stored in your device or to restrict access to your information, tagging a device contact within the app
- to provide user experience based on their usage
- maintaining the Platform;
- to resolve any complaints, User may have and ensure that User receives the highest quality of Services;
- notifying User about changes to our Platform;
- allowing User to participate in interactive features of our Platform when User chooses to do so;
- providing analysis or valuable information so that Service Provider can improve the Platform;
- monitoring the usage of the Platform;
- detecting, preventing and addressing technical issues.
Business or Research Purposes: The Information saved and except Personal Data, is used for business or research purposes, including improving and customizing the Platform for ease of use and the products and services offered by us. Service Provider may archive this information to use it for future communications for providing updates and/or surveys.
Aggregating Information / Anonymized data: Service Provider may aggregate Information and analyze it in a manner to further accentuate the level of services that Service Provider offers to its customers. This Information includes average number of Users of the Platform, the average clicks of the services/, the features used, the response rate, etc. and other such statistics regarding groups or individuals. In doing so, Service Provider shall not be making disclosures of any Personal Data as defined above.
Third Party Access
Only aggregated, anonymized data may be periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. We may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
- with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
Opt-out rights
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
Data retention policy
The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you’d like to delete the data that you have provided via the Application, please contact us at dpo@syllablelabs.in and we will respond in a reasonable time.
Children
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (dpo@syllablelabs.in) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
